  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote Edo State as a premier tourist destination.
  • Creating promotional materials, including brochures, videos, and social media campaigns, to showcase the attractions and experiences available in the region.
  • Participating in trade shows, travel exhibitions, and tourism events to raise awareness and attract visitors to Edo State.

• Collaborating with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders to develop new tourism products and experiences.
• Enhancing existing tourism offerings by improving infrastructure, facilities, and services to meet the needs and expectations of visitors.
• Supporting the preservation and promotion of Edo State’s cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and natural landscapes.

• Investing in the development and maintenance of tourism infrastructure, including roads, signage, visitor centers, and accommodation facilities.
• Improving accessibility and enhancing the visitor experience by upgrading transportation networks and tourist facilities.
• Ensuring the safety, comfort, and convenience of visitors through the provision of well-maintained infrastructure and facilities. 


• Engaging with government agencies, local authorities, tourism stakeholders, and community organizations to foster collaboration and partnerships.
• Building relationships with key stakeholders to align efforts and resources towards common tourism objectives.
• Consulting with local communities and indigenous groups to ensure their participation and representation in tourism planning and decision-making processes.

• Providing accurate, up-to-date information and assistance to visitors through visitor centers, information kiosks, and online resources.
• Offering support services, including booking assistance, itinerary planning, and travel advice, to help visitors make the most of their stay in Edo State.
• Responding to inquiries, feedback, and requests for assistance from visitors in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitoring tourism trends, visitor arrivals, and expenditure patterns to assess the performance of the tourism industry in Edo State.
• Evaluating the impact of tourism on local communities, culture, and environment, and identifying areas for improvement or intervention.
• Using data and feedback to inform decision-making and strategic planning, ensuring the sustainable development and management of tourism in the region.

• Promoting responsible travel behaviors and sustainable tourism practices among visitors, businesses, and local communities.
• Supporting initiatives that minimize the environmental impact of tourism activities, such as waste management, energy conservation, and biodiversity conservation.
• Encouraging the adoption of sustainable tourism certifications and standards by tourism operators and service providers.

• Providing training and capacity building support to tourism stakeholders, including tour guides, hospitality workers, and community tourism enterprises.
• Equipping stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to deliver high-quality tourism experiences and services.
• Fostering professionalism, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the tourism industry to drive growth and competitiveness.
